 Cardiovascular Research Days 2014

January 16th-18th 2014

This year, our meeting is going to take place in Cortina D'Ampezzo, Dolomites, Italy.

Translational and clinical research in Cardiovascular disease

The purpose of translational research is to combine the information obtained through laboratory science together with clinical practice in the general vision of improving patient care . The main themes of research proposed by Cardiovascular Research Days , 2013 in Cortina d' Ampezzo, represent the constant flow of knowledge and ideas that come from basic research. The main purpose is communication between researchers, clinicians, biotechnologists to enable the development of innovative solutions and multidisciplinarity in the field of cardiovascular disease.

Without any doubt the third millennium is characterized by a kind of New Renaissance of clinical research. Disparate fields have come together to develop strategies to solve clinical problems through an impressive variety of new methods and techniques . It is therefore essential to ride this new "Renaissance Cycle", implementing strategies and multidisciplinary synergies, which is the purpose of this meeting that in fact it may well be called a "retreat in science".

The researchers will present different approaches to identifying translational research in collaboration with clinicians . They will learn how to apply their knowledge in the context of the increasingly evident need to improve the care of individual patients. The spirit with which we have always organized the "Cardiovascular Research Days" are to create the ideal environment to collaborate with other members , clinicians and researchers, with the idea to coagulate and coordinate new areas of research.
