Travel instructions to Cortina d'Ampezzo
Travelling along the Turin-Trieste motorway A4, take the motorway A27 to Mestre and up to Pian di Vedova (Belluno). Then proceed along the A-road 51 Alemagna. For those coming from the north on the A22 Brenner motorway we recommend exiting at Bressanone and taking the motorway toward Dobbiaco.
Regular coach services directly reach Cortina from Milan, Bergamo, Brescia, Treviso, Venice and other northern cities.
The railway station that is closest to Cortina is Calalzo di Cadore, at the end of the Venice S. Lucia-Calalzo line. There are bus links from here.
The closest airports are Venice, Treviso, Verona and, in Austria, Innsbruck. The Venice airport has regular links to the Mestre railway station from where trains depart for Calalzo. Eli Friulia, based in Cortina and at the Trieste airport Ronchi dei Legionari, offers a private helicopter service both for tourist purposes and for transfers.
